When performing image guided robotic stereotactic procedures in Place of Service 11 – Office, is it appropriate to submit CPT® codes G0339 and G0340 and as anyone had problems getting these reimbursed by Medicare that have been done in the office.

I found this on Bill Types allowed for these type of charges.

Absence of a Bill Type does not guarantee that the policy does not apply to that Bill Type. Complete absence of all Bill Types indicates that coverage is not influenced by Bill Type and the policy should be assumed to apply equally to all claims.

12x - Inpatient Hospital (Part B Only)
13x - Outpatient Hospital
85x - Special Facility, Critical Access Hospital
