good afternoon. I have a chart that I am struggling with finding a second ROS for E/M coding. could I use radiating pain under neurological?

CMS states:
"ROS is an inventory of body systems obtained by asking a series of questions to identify
signs and/or symptoms the patient may be experiencing or has experienced."
For "Radiating pain" I would use that towards "Quality" under HPI, however you might be running into issues by using that statement under ROS. Is there a location of the pain? For example: radiating leg pain, radiating head ache, radiating back pain, etc. If documentation supports a location of the radiating pain, then you should be able to use that symptom under ROS.
