We have a provider who wants to bill 99391 perfomed in the home for a ventilator dependent patient. Is this appropriate, or should the physician be using a home care code instead? The issue may be getting the code to hit against the routine endorement. Any help would be much appreciated.

I see no reason my you can't bill that code in place of service 12.
