Wiki RT THUMB EXPLORATION W/REPLACEMENT OF ARTHROPLASTY

Good Morning! I need help with the above CPT. Doctor gave me 20103 but isn't that for trauma? Here is a short description of the procedure.
...2 cm incision was made over the area of swelling. Dissection was carried down through the subcutaneous tissue with tenotomy scissors. The previousl placed hal fo the FCR tendon was used for interposition arthroplasty was found protruding subcutaneously. There was a rent in the capsule. A portion was trimmed. It was able to be cut back in the capsule and the capsule was closed with 4-0 Ethibond stitch. The FCR was felt to be very stable. The wound was irrigated and the skin closed.
Any suggestions?Maybe 26070? Thank you,

It wouldn't be 26070 because the surgeon didn't drain or remove any loose foreign bodies. Code 20103 would be for a penetrating wound.
In this case it would probably be an unlisted code. I'm not certain though.

When you say "..a rent in the capsule." Do you mean defect?

I believe that rent does mean defect but not sure about that. I'm beginning to think that unlisted might be the only choice I have. thanks,
