Wiki rule about two different cardio specialities in the same clinic

Hello I have two physicians in the same clinic however they have different specialities. One has referred to the other as a new patient. Can the other code as a new patient?

Yes. If one is a cardiologist and the other an EP, for example.

What are the two specialties? How are their NPIs set up? If they are both listed as cardiology, you can't.
