Hi everyone!
If a patient is seen in a rural health setting and admitted from the hospital, can an initial hospital visit and e/m be billed on the same day? Our PAs see patients and then admits them to the hospital but they do not do the initial visit at the hospital the physician does. Sometimes this initial visit may be done the same day as the visit in the office but I am uncertain if we can bill for both in a rural health setting.
