We recently began billing for Urology as part of our Rural Health clinic. I'm struggling with verifying if we should be billing CPT 51798 post-void urine measurement when performed during an office visit. My first thought was that our hospital would bill for this service since it carries no professional componenet, as they do with x-rays. However, I don't believe that is correct, nor do they. I really just need verification that we should report 51798 along with our office visits to Rural Health Medicare.
