Im really sorry if this is a really stupid question but i am new to RVU's and how they work. I know what they are but the quesiton i have is that i have to educate doctors that their charts are atrocious and they bill by RVU'S but do coding rules still apply? because if so...if these physicians were EVER audited... the hospital would go bankrupt!!! Ex: one persons chart literally had 3 sentences; CC: Review wifes autopsy. no exam no ROS no nothing. DX: hypertension/hyperlipidemia and no TX plan at all!!
