Wiki S9500 Billed on 2 separate claim lines, same DOS-When would this be allowed?

I have several Medicaid providers who bill for S9500 weekly x7 units. They submit 2 separate S9500 x7units claim lines on one CMS Form for the same dates of service.
Under any circumstances, should both lines be paid?
S9500 is described as once every 24 hrs; per diem.
The drugs/infusions are billed on the Pharmacy benefit which are recorded in a separate system from these claims.

If it is a per diem service then it cannot be billed on one line with units greater than 1. You must indicate each date of service as separate line.
