Hello Hurricane Helpers in the North East :
was hoping to get an icd 9 or 10 dx for the following found during a "tailbone" MRI ( & cpt code for follow up CAT scan of the same area)
Note 6.3mm is about a 1/4 inch.

Exam : MRI of sacrum and coccyx
Clinical indication : Sacral and coccygeal pain
Description : images obtained . . .. . . "
There are 2 rounded areas of mildly bright signal seen on the fat-suppressed T2-weighted images
involving the right sacral ala at the level of S1.
One of these areas is seen more anteriorly and measures 6.3 mm in diameter.
On the T1-weighted images this area is hazy intermediate signal on the T1-weighted images and may
represent an atypical hemangioma.
The more posterior area is seen adjacent to the sacral foramen and is felt to represent an atypical hemangioma.
There is a question of a small lipoma of the filum terminale.
