I am having a weird thing with Noridian where my billers cannot get 45381 paid for a saline pillow lift, but they can get it paid for a tattoo (like india ink). Has anyone else experienced this? Did you find a work around? They deny 45381 always initially as inclusive to the polyp removal, but upon appeal my billers can get it paid ONLY if it is a tattoo, not a saline pillow. Thanks y'all :)
 
You might want to post this in the GI forum where you will find a lot of GI coders and billers who may be experiencing the same issues as you are.
