Hi,
I was wondering if you can code/bill for both individual and group psychiatric therapy on the same day? For Medicare?

First, documentation must support it; second, most ins companies will pay for both on the same DOS. Medicare requires an XE modifier for the second procedure. Commercial companies generally use mod 59.
