I feel like i am just asking the same questions,
PT goes to an Out PT facility and has a consult for "consideration" of a port placement (36561 10 day global) PT desides tohave the port placed and comes back 5-10 days later and has it placed by the same out patient facility...
Is the E/M for the decision codable?NCCI policy manual sayd 10 day global = minor procedure and the decision is included in the procedure. Does that apply to same day decision & procedure? And does that apply to the patient returning a few days later for the procedure?
