If I have a patient or resident who has schizophrenia (that's all the Dr. wrote) and the other admission dx's are agitation, anxiety, and hallucinations... would the code be 295.90? Would I code the agitation, anxiety and hallucinations even if those could be a sign or symptom of schizophrenia? Someone please help... Thank you.
