I have a provider that is doing 2 views of the thoracic spine and 2 views of the lumbar spine and "fusing" the two together on their PACS system because there equipment does not allow for a single view of both. Can we bill a 72080 because they fused the images or do we have to code a 72070 and 72100? The guidence we have states a single 36 in film but doesn't address 2 seperate that are put together after the images are taken. Any thoughts out there?? Thanks
