Wiki Scope AND Open

I am wondering if anyone ever charges both scope and open procedure together?

Like arthroscopic subacromial decompression, arthroscopic distal clavicel exicsion and then open rotator cuff repair, same shoulder, same day,

Anyone? Ever?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I do-I would bill out the scope procedures and the open rotator cuff repair. Now if the physician debrides the cuff through the scope then repairs open-no scope debride only open repair. Hope this helps.

We often do combination procedures, ie, 29826, 29824, for the arthroscopic SAD and Mumford, and 23412 for the chronic mini open rotator cuff repair.
