Wiki (SCT) Specialty Care Transport

Hello All~

I thought I read somewhere that the SCT had to be employed by the ambulance company or the hospital where the patient is arriving or departing from. I am not able to find this any where. My research takes to me that the SCT does not have to be an employee of the ambulance company.

Can someone please confirm for me?
