I know the answer to this question, but my doctor wants to see proof..The first doctor does a left heart cath and calls in the second doctor to just do an FFR (fractional flow reserve) and doctor no. 2 wants to charge for an additional angio of the coronaries..your thoughts please.

Did doc #2 perform and document a repeat coronary angiography? If so, he can bill it with modifer 77, but he may have difficulty being paid for that service without clearly documented medical neccessity. Also, the ffr can't be billed alone.
