Medicare pt - had knee scope-is in post op period - wants another opinion-same dx as surgery (meniscal tear)-how would you code?
 
Could you clarify? I don't follow - the 2nd opinion wouldn't be from the same doctor, so there is no global for another office. Unless you mean the patient wants a 2nd opinion from another physician in your practice. In that case, it falls under global and is not billable for the same problem.
