Hello,

Is sedation bundled when coding for colonoscopy? I always thought it was, but my mother in law has gotten a bill from her doctor indicating the sedation was denied and she is responsible for it now. ??
 
It is bundled it the same physician is doing the colonoscopy is doing the sedation also, sometimes another physician will do the sedation. We do it all the time. Then it is not bundled.
