Has anyone had success with networking at the local chapters? I Just moved to my area and have had no luck. I am going on one year without employment but have been certified for 4+ years and have spent hundreds of dollars. Is it even worth it at this point? I've tweaked my resume to best align my previous roles with coding requirements. My past experience includes 2+ years of RCM duties and very little coding. I would love to get insight on how those who need coding experience but unable to gain it aside from CEUs and local quizzes on AAPC to refresh my knowledge. I'm really looking forward to hearing from others with similar stories and how you overcame this obstacle.
