My name is Gigsa Fanniel, I am a recent graduate from Ultimate Medical Academy. I graduated in July with high honors and obtained an AS in Medical Billing and Coding (MBC). I earned my CPC-A certification on December 1, 2018. I am highly interested an entry-level part-time evening position in Maryland.
As a student of Ultimate Medical Academy, I received education and experience with medical coding methodology, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. During my time as a student I maintained a 4.0 GPA.
I have nine years of experience with the billing life cycle to include claims, audits, medical records review and grievance and appeals. My experience is what gave me the passion to obtain an AS in MBC and become a CPC.
With my combination of education and experience I am confident I would make a great addition to any organization.
