I'm trying to relocate from the San Diego area to Seattle, WA. Can anyone advise me on the best way to look for positions when I'm out of state? I'm hoping to secure something by March of 2023.

Have you considered working on contract for a remote coding company? This will be a great option! There are many companies who offer remote positions for coding. I'd suggest taking a look at LinkedIn and Upwork if you're interested in freelance work.
