Hello everyone, I have a question. Our clinic is considering increasing our self-pay rates, but we are unsure about the process. I wasn't aware that we have to stay below Medicare's allowed amounts even for self-pay rates. I've noticed that some offices charge well above those allowed amounts for self-pay. Can anyone provide information on the rules and how to determine a self-pay rate? Also, do we truly have to adhere to Medicare's allowed amounts if we don't accept Medicare or have any Medicare patients? Thank you in advance.
