Procedure: Transrectal ultrasound imaging of the prostate and seminal vesicals with transrectal ultrasound-guided biospsy of the right seminal vesicle mass and right base of the prostate.

The patient underwent trasnrectal ultrasound imaging in both the transverse and longitudinal planses. The seminal vesicles were visualized and the right seminal vesicle was more plump and large compared to the left. 7 seperarte biopsies were obtained through the trasrectal ultrasound probe from the right seminal vesicle mass and right base of the prostate in this region.

CPT codes I am thinking: 55899 (for the biopsy of the seminal vesicles), 76872-26 for the ultrasound, and do I code 55700 for the prostate biopsy?

Also what code would I compare the 55899 to? 55700?

Thank you.
