Can I ONLY code for the acromioplasty for this?
"Excision of calcific tendonitis and right acromioplasty"
"Open incision was made over the anterior acromion. Carried dissection down thru subcut tissues. The subacromial bursa was thickened. This was excised with sharp dissection. He had a large hook osteophyte off the undersurface of the anterior acromion, and this was resected with an osteotome and then contoured down with a rasp. He also has very large AC joint inferior osteophytes that were resected again with an osteotome and a rasp to clear the subacromial space. I then inspected the RC. Thre was no evidence of a tear but there was definitely calcium deposit about 1.5cm from the normal insertion site of the supraspinatus tendon. I incised this area, and then once I identified some of the calcification, I resected some of the tendon which was obviously degenerated around this in a longitutinal fashion. I then carried out a repair with #1 vicryl sutures in the side-to-side fashion where I had excised the area."
