As a pain management provider we bill Medicare for SI joint injections, which have been denying right & left. Our physicians do the procedure in our ASC: physician 27096 which includes the fluoro, facility G0296 & the correct ICD-9 dx code. I have talked tor MCR reps & researched everywhere & I am out of places to look. I have found some information that MCR codes only allows the 27096 to be billed from the office & therefore MCR is denying because of our POS. Can anyone help me find my answer & where I can find it? Thank you!!
