Can you bill for a Laceration repair (ex. 12001) when the provider uses Dermabond for the closure without any sutures?

dermabond laceration re[air

yes you may bill a 12001 for dermabond repair see CPT book Repair guidelines- Simple repair includes chemical repair:)

"sticky" situation

Pardon the pun! This is another one of the differences between CPT and Medicare. If you are repairing a simple lac for Medicare the code is G0168, otherwise yes you may use the CPT code you referenced. :
