Wiki simple vs intermediate repair

Post of Diagnosis : Facial laceration, initial encounter (S01.81XA).

Procedure Note : Sterile procedure, wound cleaned with hibiclens x 3 and irrigated extensively, 1% lidocaine with epi local. placed running suture about 2 cm in length with 5-0 prolene, no complications. xerofoam gauze placed.

We consider this one as intermediate repair for laceration?

No, its still simple.They mean like digging out foreign bodies like sand, metal fragments, glass etc
