Anyone out there currently or has in the past done SNF Coding/Billing, I'm trying to understand these "RUG Codes", would like some insight on SNF.. my email at work marilyn.munoz@wellcare.com....
 
RUG scores are similar to hospital DRG's. They are based on the amount of services required. The higher the level of care - the higher the reimbursement rate.
