I am working with an otolaryngologist/maxillofacial surgeon.
He has performed a left radial forearm free flap with microvascular anastomosis with implantable Doppler. He is insetting the flap in the maxilla and palate for reconstruction for a cancer patient.
I am confused about what CPT codes to use. I am looking at 15757 or 58 and or 15736. He has also explored the left neck vessels and repaired and closed the right neck wound from the other surgeons removal of the cancer. This is a new set of procedures for me. Any help that anyone can offer would be much appreciated. Oh and he used a surgical microscope 69990 which I think may be included in 15757/58 but not for 15736. Again, thanks!
