What ICD10 would you assign to the following:
Toe, left second toe proximal bone, amputation:
Acute osteomyelitis
Skin with focal ulceration and inflammation extending into deep subcutaneous soft tissue
Skin and bone resection margins appear viable
The gross does state: The specimen is sectioned to show hemorrhagic and necrotic soft tissue surounding the focally hemorrhagic bone. Any help appreciated

Id add dx M86.072 ,then ICD10 manual dx states add dx B96.89 since infection is present. If have name of specific bacteria from lab result may be listed in block B96 .Also add L97.923. Well hope this data helps you
