Small Bowel Capsule Interpretation

We had a patient who swallowed the capsule while they were inpatient, but the doctor didn't interpret the results until after the patient had been discharged. Since we have to bill the service date on the date of interpretation, we're thinking that means the POS would be outpatient since the patient was discharged already, but we're questioning ourselves.

Does anyone have any advice on how to bill in this situation?
