Dr. performed a small bowel resection with ileostomy and mucous fistula. Wondering if CPT 44144 is appropriate since 44144 is for colon? if not can someone help me, please......

I don't think 44144 would be appropriate since the procedure was performed on small intestine. I found the below discussion regarding a similar scenario. Please see below.
