I'm coding a Bronch with bx; FNA.
Can someone direct me to where I find information about which direction to go when I see this on a pathology report?
Path report says this for the paratracheal lymph node:
Small cell carcinoma (high grade neuroendocrine carcinoma).
The index states small cell carcinoma - code malignant by site. Neuroendocrine in the index states high grade - C7A.
The path report for the bronchial bx states 'compatible with small cell carcinoma'.
