I am new to SNF part A swing bed billing.
It looks like the fee schedule is related to the rug score, is this true?
The claims must be billed in date order by the month.
to get proper reimbursement do I need to split the claims?
example Patient A is in SNF from 2/1/08 thru 2/28/08
During this period there are two rug codes RHC01 (5 day assesment) and
SE317 (14 day assesment)
Would this claim need to be split into 2 claims each claim covering the date range for each rug score?
