Provider is questioning since both TFESI and SNRB have the same coding, just modifier KX to add on a SNRB to distinguish the difference. Per Medicare LCD TFESI is only allowed 4 times per 12 month rolling period. Would the 4 times be included in the SNRB as well or would they be able to perform 4 of each TFESI and SNRB? I would appreciate some guidance.
