Good morning,

How do I report Solumedrol 125 mg injection now that the HCPCS code J2930 has been discontinued? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
 
J2919, (see below from CMS). You'll have to do the math for 125 mg, billing 25 units.

J2919 Add Injection, methylprednisolone sodium succinate, 5 mg
J2920* Delete Injection, methylprednisolone sodium succinate, up to 40 mg
J2930* Delete Injection, methylprednisolone sodium succinate, up to 125 mg

We are starting to get denials for units of measure on J2919 using 25 units for 125mg injection. Is anyone else having this problem? We are using Milligrams for unit of measure.
