Is there a specific date that the special procedure should be charged? The note is on the md plan under the sim setup. Should it go out with the md plan or the date of the simulation?

The billing date for code 77470 is the date of the documentation statement supporting the extra work and resources provided. It is not enough to simply state "special treatment procedure" payor policies indicate there must be documentation of the extra work and resources.
