Our Physician is removing a previously place spinal neurostimulator which we did not implant initially. He created a new pocket along with implanting a new generator. the exisiting lead is now being tunnled to the new pocket site to be attached to the new generator.
My question is do I need to know how the initial lead was implanted the descprition codes of 63663 Revision including replacement,when performed of spinal neurostimulator percutaneous array & 63664 revision including replacement via laminectomy?
