hi all! My provider wants to bill the application code 29125 for off the shelf splints. We do not own the splints. We have a vendor who supplies and bills for them. The L codes for the splints include the fitting. If we are not billing the supply code, can we bill the application code? Thanks!
 
We use 29125 for applying fiberglass splints, not OTS splints. For OTS splints, we bill the office visit and the splint (we own our DME), but no application code.
