Wiki Split/Shared Visits with Georgia Medicaid

The Georgia Medicaid Manual advises that NP and PA should use their own NPIs. I cannot find any guidance regarding split/shared visits and whether they are acceptable. I have contacted Medicaid only to be referred to the manual. Has anyone had any experience regarding this? I have heard of organizations being penalized previously for billing under split/shared when the PA/NP was credentialed.
