Can anyone tell me the best code for squamous cell carcinoma of scalp? I am finding the code C44.42 but that code includes neck.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
 
C44.42 - Squamous cell carcinoma of skin of scalp and neck

This is correct.

It doesn't mean the SCC lesion covers both areas.

It means that these two body areas categorize under this code.
