Can anyone help with this? If a standing order was dated 1-02-13 to 9-02-13 with a dx of 585.6 then later a second standing order, same patient same doctor, same tests with a dos of 7-02-13 to 4-02-14 can I still use the dx of 585.6? The dates overlap.

First our standing orders are only good for 6 months. But once a new order is written that order is the current order and overrides the previous written order. Hope this helps.
