Hi There..

Can anyone tell me if I only have a HCPCS code where I would find what status indicator it belongs to? I don't see it listed in the description of the code in the HCPCS manual-

Status indicators are located in addendum B of the federal register. If you are using the 3M encoder I know that ours has the status indicators embeded in the system and they are listed along with the code. Check your system and see other wise you will need to get this from the federal register.
 
Some HCPCS manuals have the status indicators listed alongside the code. I prefer this method, but do not use 3M anyhow.

Ingenix sells a good one with all its status indicators evident.
