Today I'm come across senerio in this first day physician did reduce colectomy hartmann procedure. After two days again he open and performed colostomy.

In DX specific s/p colectomy

So my doubt can be take z code colectomy status along with primary DX Or z code only applicable for aftercare?

Kindly assist what ICD code we need to take

Still I have doubt if PRI n post procedure itself show s/p colectomy status. For revision of colostomy then what dx will take
 
what is the condition he is being treated for, you will have to code that since its another surgery itself. If it was just a wound healing or came for checking healing phase you can use Z43.3
