If provider puts a stent in LC and LD = different vessels

Shouldn't my codes be

non-Medicare or Medicare
92928 - LC
92928 - LD

If stent placed in LC and OM1 = same vessel

Codes would be:
92928 -LC
92929 - LC

Can someone help please, I keep reading articles and I'm starting to get confused :/

You are correct if billing for Physician. If billing for hospital, and they are bare metal stents, again you are correct. If the are drug eluting stents, then you need the c-codes for the proccedure. HTH, Jim Pawloski, CIRCC
