if stent placement is 37205 - what code would be used for the removal of the stent with no infection noted
 
right arm and shoulder were prepped and draped in the usual steril fasion. Local anesthesia was used. I made two incisions over the stent. One was below the axilla and one was in the axilla. I cut the graft that the stent was in I then slowly dissected around the graft until I got to the venous anastomosis and the upper incision. I cut through the vein. The stent was present here and there were multiple stents that extended higher up into her axilla towards the subclavian vein. I dissected up a few centimeteres above this level and transected the stent. The lower stent which was bothering her was completely removed. A portion of an overlapping stent was also removed. Hemostasis achieved and I oversewed this with 4-0 vicryl. Subcutaneous tissue and skin were closed.
