Hello group, I wanted to ask you , I have 2 cases that I need help with.
1.) Pt is morbidly obese, Dr states several times he took over a hour just to put lines in the pt's neck. Then spent lenghty time performing a off pump cabg then closing the pt up, he used several sternal plates. Tritium cable plates, 2 xplates, one in the manubrium, one midportion, and one box plate fir the lower portion of sternum. Should I use 21825?
Next patient -
2.) Dr performed exploration of chest, decortication, pericardial window & sternal rewiring. I do not know what to use for the sternum?
