We have a patients that come into our Urgent Care Center with an order from their Family Phyisican stating that we need to have the patient leave a stool sample in a hat then the nurse will have to "scoop" the stool specimen and place it in a cup to get it ready to send out with the lab pick up for the day. I am having a time trying to figure out what we would charge for something like this. We are not culturing it or anything, just pretty much preparing it for send out to another lab. Any thoughts? Any HELP is greatly appreciated.

Thats what we are in process of figuring out. :) We want to know also. Sounds weird that a doctors office would not do this themseleves.
